HURST CORPORATION SAFE LABEL REMOVAL FROM SYRINGES AND CARTRIDGES

HURST CORPORATION announces a new DL series label removal machine specifically designed to remove film type labels from small diameter glass syringes and cartridges. HURST Model SLR (Syringe Label Remover) utilizes custom made ultra sticky tape to remove both label and adhesive.

SLR-SLS How it Works

 How it works:
a. Syringe or cartridge labels are pre-slit using the patented HURST Model SLS (Label Slitter). The SLS machine creates a lifted label edge and an opposing compressed label edge.
b. Once positioned upon the SLR machine the advancing ultra sticky tape seizes the lifted label edge and subsequently unwraps the label.

SLS Label Slitting Machines combine with SLR Label Removing Machines to produce a safe way to remove labels from syringes and cartridges. Hand held razors and picks are completely eliminated.

 Safe to use

HURST SLS and SLR machines can accommodate a wide range of syringe sizes and configurations up to 6” in overall length and up to 1” in diameter. HURST label removal tapes are available from ½” to 3” in width. Installation and training are available worldwide.

HURST SLS & SLR machines work together to #1, create a lifted edge on a wrap-around overlapping label (SLS Machine), and #2, using the lifted edge of the syringe label for purchase, fully unwrap the balance of the label (SLR Machine). The HURST syringe delabeling system comprising both SLS and SLR machines provides a new level of safety and increased production.

OPERATOR SAFETY: The HURST Syringe Label Slitting Machine (SLS) protects operator from the danger of hand-held razors. It provides a predictable uniform lifted label edge to assist in full label removal. The HURST Syringe Label Remover Machine (SLR) provides an automatic timesaving method of removing labels and adhesive an integral unit.

PRODUCT SAFETY: The vertical resiliency of the HURST Label Slitting Machine is under one pound/sq.in. pressure and will not adversely affect fine tubing. Delrin® syringe cradles provide cushioning during processing.
